Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: 2 years' experience in a Walmart maintenance technician position OR 1 year's experience in industrial maintenance (e.g., welding, refrigeration, electrical, electronics), including six months leading a work or project team.

Responsibilities

• Supports associate engagement by providing learning opportunities, building relationships, cross-training, and encouraging teamwork.
• Monitors work plans and workloads to meet deadlines by resolving problems and auditing progress within a shift.
• Manages maintenance department operations: diagnose equipment problems, develop repair options, and train associates to service material handling, pneumatic and electrical systems, and energy center equipment.
• Supports production by ensuring machinery and equipment operate reliably and meet quality standards.
• Ensures compliance with external rules and regulations (OSHA, NFPA, DOT, etc.) and supports maintenance of automated material handling systems.
• Coordinates activities by building relationships with stakeholders and tracking progress toward goals.
