Job summary

Judd Wire, Inc., a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is seeking a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor at our Turners Falls, MA facility. The role oversees and coordinates shift operations, ensures production schedules, quality, and safety compliance, and addresses operational problems.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of manufacturing supervision experience, and the ability to lead a team, stay detail oriented, and learn new processes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and basic math skills required.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Be a team player, enjoy detailed work and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and control the manufacturing activities for the assigned shift.
• Monitor operations to ensure procedures, quality and productivity standards are met.
• Respond to technical and/or operational problems; troubleshoot and direct solutions.
• Prepare required reports for rejected material, root cause, corrective actions and disposition.
• Enforce established safety rules and ensure work areas are orderly.
