Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services in Garrett, IN is seeking a 2nd Shift Packing Team Lead to oversee a production packing team for automotive parts. The role focuses on guiding team members, ensuring adherence to process sheets, and maintaining quality throughout the shift.

The position offers a regular Monday–Friday schedule from 2pm to 10pm with hourly compensation. The ideal candidate has prior team lead experience and is able to manage workload, safety, and workflow, including lifting up to 50

Qualifications

• Previous team lead experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25–35 pounds continuously.
• Must be able to stand for a 10-hour shift, with bending, stooping and climbing when needed.

• Lead and support the packing team throughout the shift, serving as the main point of contact for team members.
• Delegate and assign job responsibilities to team members to ensure processes are followed and job rotation occurs.
• Ensure the team follows the process sheets when packaging parts, and report any quality issues immediately to the shift supervisor.
• Inspect the parts and process before, during and after each packaging job.
• Record and maintain packaging rates, reporting any scrap.
• Accurately count production, labels, pallets, finished goods, etc.
