Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of manufacturing experience, or a graduate degree with 2+ years.
• 4+ years of work experience in fabrication or assembly of close tolerance mechanical, electronic, or electro‑mechanical parts.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) for reporting and planning.
• Ability to travel less than 10% and obtain US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary manufacturing engineering support for 2nd shift production as the main shop floor contact.
• Troubleshoot process, equipment, tooling, and documentation issues affecting safety, quality, or delivery.
• Analyze production problems and implement corrective actions involving designs, materials, and processes.
• Develop and prepare work instructions, control plans, PFMEAs, and process validation plans.
• Interface with equipment vendors and specify equipment via requirements documents.
• Produce reports and white papers summarizing manufacturing performance trends.
• Review designs for manufacturability and assist with tooling or fixtures development.
