Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Assembly A (2nd shift) in Cincinnati, OH. The role focuses on manual soldering of electronic and electro-mechanical components for defense-related products, with emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Assembler will work in a highly regulated environment, following DOMs, blueprints, and ITAR/EAR compliance. Prior IPC J-STD-001 certification is preferred, along with the ability to obtain security clearance if required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Manual dexterity to handle small parts and tools with precision.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 32 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and execute soldering instructions per DOM and blueprints.
• Perform precise hand soldering of electronic components per established methods.
• Inspect solder joints and connections for quality and compliance.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Participate in daily GEMBA meetings and continuous improvement activities.
