Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to support production operations and drive process improvements on the 2nd shift in South Carolina. The role emphasizes applying engineering know‑how, cross‑functional collaboration, and delivering operational excellence in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot production issues, analyze processes, implement efficiency improvements, and coach newer team members while aligning with business objectives and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college; OR HS diploma/GED with 6 years manufacturing experience.
• 2nd Shift availability (2:45pm–10:45pm)
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing engineering activities to support production operations and process efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support operational excellence.
• Develop knowledge of manufacturing processes, systems, and technical disciplines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet manufacturing goals and requirements.
• Analyze processes and recommend quality, productivity, safety improvements.
• Provide informal coaching and support to new team members.
