Job summary

nVent is seeking a manufacturing engineering-support role to troubleshoot equipment, develop solutions, and drive safety improvements daily. You will assist with installation and testing of automated equipment, support Lean initiatives, and coordinate with vendors for tooling and parts.

The role emphasizes documentation of processes, ECO handling, and contributing to PDP development while maintaining BOMs and routings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training).
• 2-years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support safety improvements.
• Assist with layout planning, installation, and testing of automated equipment.
• Document processes and create standard work instructions.
• Support Lean initiatives and cost estimating.
• Coordinate with vendors for tooling and equipment.
• Assist with new product development and PDP processes.
