Job summary

Legrand AV, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Manufacturing Associate (2nd shift) to join the Wiremold Team in West Hartford, CT. The role involves fabrication, assembly and testing of products, with responsibilities across loading/unloading, labeling, and quality reporting.

The position requires basic hand tooluse, reading and following blueprints or standard work sheets, and willingness to rotate through tasks in a production cell. OSHA safety rules apply and TPM responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Six months prior experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Able to use basic hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Ability to follow standard work processes and rotate through tasks.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and assembly activities including pressing, tapping, welding, sealing, labeling, stamping and testing.
• Pack, seal and label raceway products; operate tools and adjust machines as directed.
• Use hand tools, air screw drivers and light automation to assemble devices.
• Record and report materials handling, storage and transport data.
• Load/unload work in process and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Perform TPM schedules and follow safety procedures.
