Job summary

LIGHTERA is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician for its Avon, CT facility. This 2nd shift role focuses on cable production activities, including extrusion, braiding, winding, testing and data entry. You will support process engineering and participate in improvement initiatives to meet department goals.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in manufacturing, a technical background, and basic math and reading drawings skills. Training is provided and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Manufacturing Experience.
• Able to read and interpret work orders, specifications and process requirements.
• Willing to train in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate extruder lines and related equipment while ensuring product and process quality.
• Review work orders and inspect cables for compliance with drawings and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and participate in 6S and continuous improvement.
