Job summary

Legrand is seeking an Entry Level Manufacturing Associate to join the Wiremold Team in West Hartford, CT. The role focuses on fabrication and assembly operations to produce a variety of products, including complex assemblies, under supervision.

You will perform tasks using hand tools and basic machines, maintain quality and safety standards, and collaborate with group leaders to rotate through work cells. Authorization to work in the United States and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Six months experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Must be willing to cross-train on all rotation assignments.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and assembly tasks including pressing, tapping, welding, sealing, labeling, stamping, counting, loading and unloading.
• Potentially packs, seals, and labels raceway products and operates packaging equipment.
• Uses a variety of hand tools and small machinery.
• Records, maintains, and reports on materials handled or transported.
• Maintains clean, organized work area following 5S principles and TPM schedules.
• Complies with OSHA safety procedures and supports quality standards.
