RBC Bearings in Baldwin Park, CA is seeking a Machinist II to perform basic machine setups and operate fabrication equipment, primarily CNC lathes. The role requires reading engineering drawings and maintaining quality parts while adhering to safety rules.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of CNC lathe experience, a related 2-year machining program, and a strong willingness to learn. This is a full-time, on-site position with a focus on precision and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read engineering blueprints and planning.
• A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, strong multitasking ability, and an interest in learning new skills/technologies required.
• MUST be well organized, works well with others and flexible.
• Broad skill set who is not afraid to tackle multiple tasks.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate two CNC lathes (Okuma) to produce parts per drawings.
• Perform tool adjustments and basic setups.
• Maintain machines and perform minor routine maintenance.
• Measure parts with appropriate instruments and verify conformance to requirements.
• Document information per work instructions and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and comply with PPE protocols.
• Collaborate with Engineering on tooling and program adjustments.
