Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Marianna, FL distribution center. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair electrical and control systems, and troubleshoot PLC-based equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include documenting work, supporting safety initiatives, operating material handling equipment, and collaborating with the maintenance team to improve efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Coursework or certification in electronic technology and industrial maintenance experience
• PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience
• Industrial electrical hands-on experience with 480V 3‑phase, 110 VAC and 24 VDC systems
• Advanced troubleshooting with PCs and industrial controls devices
• Clear communication of technical issues to leadership
• Willingness for shift work, overtime, weekends or holidays
• Customer service oriented

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment in the distribution center
• Troubleshoot complex electrical/electronic problems with PLCs and motor drives
• Diagnose electrical problems using drawings and diagnostic tools
• Operate material handling equipment and related machinery
• Maintain organized work area and promote safety in the Maintenance department
• Complete work orders and documentation according to procedures
• Assist teammates and contribute to continuous improvement
