Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our distribution center. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing conveyance systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and gear boxes to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include safety adherence, PM documentation, inventory reporting, and mentoring junior technicians. You will collaborate with vendors to complete DC projects and support overall facility needs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certificate in mechanical/electrical field.
• 3-5 years in maintenance with electrical/mechanical focus.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic systems and PLC controls.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and OSHA/Loto standards in the DC facility.
• Repair and troubleshoot equipment, conveyors, and PLC controls.
• Report parts usage and assist maintenance leadership with inventories.
• Train junior technicians and coordinate with vendors for projects.
• Support DC operations and perform other duties as needed.
