Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a maintenance technician for our distribution center. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment, including conveyors and PLC-controlled systems, while adhering to safety and LOTO standards.

The role requires 3-5 years experience, relevant education, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs. The position is on-site with a rotating shift and competitive hourly pay plus a shift differential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent.
• 2-year vocational technical certificate or degree in mechanical/electrical applications.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Welding, burning, cutting.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls.
• Familiar with DC-specific software packages (Crown PM, Gage).
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics.
• Good safety awareness.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience with LOTO.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements including OSHA and LOTO.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment related to conveyors and facility systems.
• Report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage.
• Train junior technicians to elevate performance.
• Coordinate with outside vendors to complete DC projects.
• Take on duties to support DC operations.
