Job summary

Oliver Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing team on 2nd shift.

You will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and improve presses and other equipment, coordinating with supervisors and production crews to resolve performance issues. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of mechanical experience in industrial environments, hands-on machining, welding, and fabrication, and can operate a lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, and drill press.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment maintenance.
• Experience with machining, welding, and fabrication.
• Ability to operate lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, and drill press.
• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical work certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair presses and other manufacturing equipment.
• Work with supervisors and production crews to identify and resolve equipment performance issues.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine the appropriate repair solution.
• Rebuild machines, equipment, and components as needed.
• Research and implement equipment modifications to increase reliability.
