Danfoss is seeking an Assembly Technician for the 2nd shift in Shawnee, OK. You will assemble components, follow technical drawings, and test subassemblies on a bench or line, ensuring quality and efficiency.

The role emphasizes safety and continuous improvement within a team setting. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of manufacturing or repair experience, and basic data entry skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months of manufacturing or repair experience.
• Vocational school training with comparable experience.
• Basic computer data entry skills.
• Ability to read and apply information contained in documents.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and any shift in a teamwork environment.

Responsibilities

• Assembles parts to form complete units or subassemblies on bench or line.
• Reads routing sheets and instructions to properly assemble and test hydraulic motors.
• Selects and identifies parts, bearings, shafts, seals, spacers, and retainers.
• Visually inspects parts and adjusts for proper fit.
• Maintains and uses gauging and assembly equipment.
• Performs cell housekeeping and supports 5-S compliance.
• Supports safety processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
