Job summary

Mmsteam is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II for 2nd shift at the Caterpillar facility in East Peoria, IL. You will be stationed onsite, performing troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs to a range of mechanical and electrical systems.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, strong diagnostic skills, and familiarity with CMMS tools. This full-time role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical, electrical, industrial, or facilities maintenance experience.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Able to read schematics and blueprints; maintain documentation in CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and facility equipment.
• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance.
• Work on motors, pumps, compressors, HVAC, plumbing, and related systems.
• Diagnose equipment problems and repair with minimal supervision.
• Read schematics/blueprints and complete work orders in CMMS.
• Follow safety procedures (LOTO) and support installations and projects.
