Job summary

Rise Baking Company in Lancaster, NY is seeking a Millwright/Electrical Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift. The role focuses on maintaining plant equipment and buildings to meet food safety and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 2-year degree or 3+ years’ experience required; CMMS and lockout/tagout knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in electronics/maintenance mechanics or 3+ years in maintenance mechanic role.
• Experience with repair or preventive maintenance in hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, or electronics.
• Working knowledge of CMMS and lockout/tagout programs.
• Experience with boiler operations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with plant equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems with plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Perform building maintenance tasks as needed to prevent downtime.
