Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a direct-hire role in Eaton, Ohio, in a clean, climate-controlled facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, operating machine shop tools as needed.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in a technical field with 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Experience operating machine shop equipment (lathes, mills, drill presses).
Prior experience in high-volume industrial manufacturing environments.
Ability to operate CMMS and track maintenance work.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting & Repair: Identify root causes of machine breakdowns; dismantle, repair, and reassemble mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Electrical Maintenance: Install and repair electrical components, wiring, transformers, and electronic controls.
Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine PMs, track work progress in a CMMS, and help maintain physical facility structures.
Machining & Fabrication: Set up and operate machine shop tools to repair or fabricate parts, jigs, and fixtures.
Continuous Improvement: Execute project work orders and collaborate with reliability teams to manage parts and tools.
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)
