Job summary

Pennant, Inc. in Sabina, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.

The role requires strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic skills, with experience reading schematics, performing preventive maintenance, and following safety guidelines under OSHA NFPA 70E. Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma and a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience; 4+ years in manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
• A degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience with strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills; PLC and HVAC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant facilities.
• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance during machine service.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, and test adjustments.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.
• Utilize hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
