Job summary

Kraft Heinz Company in Kendallville, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support 2nd shift operations. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across production, building and utilities, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

You will partner with production to address corrective maintenance, perform preventive inspections, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires physical work, safety discipline, and the ability to work with a collaborative

Qualifications

• Maintenance training or degree in manufacturing maintenance.
• Self-motivated with a drive for results in a fast-paced plant.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders safely.
• Comfortable working in dusty, starch-containing environments.
• Able to work in hot and humid conditions; safety minded.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, food processing and hygiene is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment as needed for building, production and utilities.
• Coordinate with production for corrective maintenance to ensure line efficiency and quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections on production, building and utilities equipment.
• Participate in developing a documented preventive maintenance plan.
• Recommend and implement continuous improvement on equipment and system design.
• Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate with maintenance on other shifts to coordinate efforts.
• Collaborate as a cross-functional member of the operations team.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader.
