JBS Prepared Foods is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all production and utility systems. You will work with motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, packaging machines, and more, while upholding GMP, SQF, and safety standards.

The role requires reading schematics and coordinating with QA and Operations. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in maintenance, strong electrical/mechanical skills, forklift certification, and the

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years maintenance experience.
• Must have forklift license or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience with motors, valves, pumps, conveyors; read schematics.
• Knowledge of GMP, SQF, and safety protocols.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair production equipment across pumps, valves, packaging machines.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults; perform preventive maintenance.
• Inspect, test, and replace worn parts; document changes.
• Follow GMP/SQF and safety rules; report daily work orders.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, QA, Operations supervisors.
