Job summary

Qualifications

• 40+ hours per week in all plant areas.
• Communication in English (spoken and written).
• Strong knowledge of building, mechanical and electrical trades.
• Previous mechanical experience required.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize work orders and schedule mechanics by urgency.
• Monitor production areas to ensure proper equipment function.
• Perform skilled maintenance including welding, brazing, soldering, plumbing and hydraulics.
• Adjust, repair and replace electrical/electronic equipment.
• Participate in HAZMAT team and safety initiatives.
• Attend meetings and complete required paperwork.
