Job summary

The Marzetti Company is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:00pm–5:00am) to maintain and repair plant machinery, grounds, buildings and equipment. This role operates with minimal supervision as part of a safety-conscious team.

You’ll work to uphold safety, quality and efficiency, perform inspections, keep documentation, TIG weld, install or relocate equipment, and support continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities in a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Must obtain industrial truck and lift certification and operate safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards and OSHA compliance for all functions.
• Inspect PPE daily and maintain required certifications.
• Repair and maintain electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Install or relocate equipment and perform building/grounds maintenance.
• Perform TIG welding on mild steel and stainless.
• Support project improvements and participate in team meetings.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
