Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (2:15pm – 10:45pm) to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot basic issues, and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.

Responsibilities include using CMMS to log repairs, maintaining spare parts, and supporting facility projects. A high school diploma and 2 years of related experience are required; advanced technical training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• High School Diploma
• Advanced technical degree or college preferred
• Prior facility maintenance experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain all equipment for manufacturing and the facility through preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs.
• Repair manufacturing equipment & peripheral support equipment (vacuum pumps, compressors, dryers, etc.).
• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment & peripheral support equipment
• Assist with the installation, relocation and, decommission equipment
• Use CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) to schedule PM's, log repairs and downtime
• Troubleshoot & diagnose basic equipment problems
• Maintain spare parts inventory
• Source parts and tools needed to perform various tasks
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Perform facility maintenance to include interior painting and minor interior structure repairs
