Amsted Automotive Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift in Taylor, Michigan. The role involves coordinating maintenance activities with production, collaborating with QA, and maintaining shop equipment to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of maintenance experience, a high school education or better, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. This on-site position offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates maintenance and repair work with the production staff in process areas.
• Ensures QA policies are implemented by maintenance personnel.
• Maintains and repairs maintenance shop equipment.
• Monitors spare parts and maintenance supplies; initiates reorders when needed.
• Prepares reports and analyzes data to improve plant operations.
• Assists with hiring of maintenance personnel.
• Tracks asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, and schedule adherence.
• Ensures compliance with city, county, state, and federal regulations related to maintenance.
• Communicates effectively with maintenance technicians about issues.
• Keeps safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental practices up to date.
