Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its manufacturing site in the United States. Responsible for overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Focus on uptime, safety, and reliable production of coatings. Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of maintenance experience in manufacturing, basic electrical/pneumatic diagram literacy, arc welding experience, and the ability to read, write, and

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Able to read basic electrical and pneumatic diagrams.
• Arc welding and oxy/fuel cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs and adjustments to machinery; dismantle parts to repair or replace defective components.
• Operate shop tools and equipment within skill level.
• Assist in electrical projects and perform minor electrical repairs.
• Assist in pipe fitting tasks and installation work.
• Repair and rebuild portions of power industrial equipment; install new plant equipment.
• Maintain production equipment to optimize uptime and safety.
• Improve reliability and efficiency of plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep equipment running smoothly.
