Job summary

Tosca is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Norton, MA for 2nd shift to troubleshoot and maintain equipment and support building upkeep. You will follow safety standards, maintain LOTO compliance, and assist on the wash line as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Requires 3+ years with mechanical/electrical equipment, basic computer skills, and knowledge of OSHA and LOTO. Proficiency with PLCs, hydraulics, and welding is a plus; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years' experience with mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and production safety practices, including LOTO.
• Electrical knowledge: schematics, PLCs, 480v/3-phase systems, DC motors, Yaskawa drives, wiring and control logic.
• Industrial mechanical principles: hydraulics, pneumatics, controls.
• Welding knowledge (MIG/TIG) is a plus.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and manufacturing system issues with our operations team.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
• Support all aspects of building maintenance, including minor plumbing, drywall, painting, cleaning, and general upkeep.
• Identify and resolve recurring equipment problems with the maintenance team.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and Tosca’s internal safety standards.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of, and strict adherence to, the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program.
• Provide occasional production line support, including on the wash line to cover breaks and lunches, while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
