Job summary

Tosca in Springfield, MO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support electrical and mechanical systems across our facility. This evergreen posting aims to fill future openings and shifts, with potential overtime and opportunities to grow.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with plumbing, painting, and controls. The role requires OSHA LO TO awareness and strong problem-solving, with hands-on skills in hydraulics, PLCs, and industrial equipment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of maintenance experience (mechanical and electrical).
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of OSHA safety practices, including LOTO.
Electrical background with schematics, PLCs, 480v/3-phase, D/C motors, Yaskawa A/C drives, wiring, and control logic.
Mechanical skills involving hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and industrial controls.
Boiler or MIG/TIG welding experience is a plus.
Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
Completing preventive maintenance and conducting inspections.
Supporting general facility repairs such as plumbing, painting, drywall, and cleaning.
Partnering with the maintenance team to identify and resolve recurring equipment problems.
Ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and Tosca safety protocols.
Demonstrating a strong working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
