Job summary

National Beef is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift in North Baltimore, Ohio. Starting wage is $29.50 per hour with a $1 shift differential and a $3 attendance bonus.

This on-site role includes benefits, overtime after 40 hours, and a focus on mechanical and electrical maintenance in a meat processing environment. The ideal candidate has industrial maintenance experience, is reliable, and can read and follow English instructions.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and understanding of basic power transmission equipment.
• Ability to use common hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English preferred.
• Industrial Electrical controls experience.
• Electrical experience in 480V and motor controls.
• Industrial Maintenance Experience.
• Refrigeration Experience.
• Allen Bradley PLC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair of mechanical equipment and building systems.
• Rebuild, repair, and/or replace equipment/machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance- Lubrication/inspection.
• Assist with the installation of equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot/repair/replace industrial electrical equipment- Motors, Drives, controls.
• Log work activities for equipment history, parts management and reporting.
• Collaborate with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.
