Job summary

National Beef in North Baltimore, Ohio, is hiring a Weekend Maintenance Technician to join our team Friday through Monday. This on-site role offers a starting wage of $29.50 per hour with a $1 shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts and a $3 perfect attendance bonus paid weekly.

Qualified candidates will have mechanical maintenance experience, the ability to use hand tools, basic computer skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Mechanical maintenance experience
• Ability to read basic schematics and manuals
• Ability to use common hand tools
• Willingness to work overtime and be punctual
• English reading/writing proficiency
• Strong safety record and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Experience with electrical controls is a plus
• Industrial refrigeration exposure is advantageous
• PLC experience (Allen Bradley) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and building systems
• Rebuild, repair, and replace equipment/machinery
• Perform preventative maintenance (lubrication and inspections)
• Assist with installation of equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot/repair electrical equipment, motors, drives, controls
• Log work activities for equipment history and parts management
• Collaborate with management and other departments on maintenance issues
• Other duties as assigned
