Job summary

National Beef in North Baltimore, Ohio, is seeking a Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and building systems. The role includes preventative maintenance, equipment installation support, and collaboration with other departments in a safety sensitive on-site environment.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical maintenance experience, basic computer skills, and a strong safety record.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance and electrical controls for industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, safety rules and procedures.
• Willingness to work overtime and be on time when scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair of mechanical equipment and building systems.
• Rebuild, repair, and/or replace equipment and machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance and lubrication/inspection.
• Assist with installation of equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot/repair/replace industrial electrical equipment—motors, drives, controls.
• Log work activities for equipment history, parts management and reporting.
• Collaborate with management and other departments on maintenance issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
