Job summary

American Aluminum Extrusion (AAE) is hiring a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician in Roscoe, IL. The role focuses on keeping manufacturing equipment safe, reliable, and productive.

You will troubleshoot, monitor, repair, and service equipment across the facility, supporting uptime and continuous improvement. The position requires hands-on expertise in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, plus PLC troubleshooting and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Two years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Proficient with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with welding and rigging.
• Able to troubleshoot PLCs using appropriate software.

Responsibilities

• Work with electrical motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
• Repair, install, adjust, modify, and service all equipment.
• Evaluate equipment reliability and take actions to improve performance.
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and all other company safety requirements.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned.
