Ideal candidates have strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical and electrical experience, and a hands-on approach to preventative maintenance. Must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift and be on call as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years hands-on maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and identify root causes.
• Lead Five Whys investigations and document findings.
• Install and improve equipment and systems.
• Inspect, test, and repair machinery (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Work with automation: robots, controllers, and advanced systems.
• Fabricate/repair parts using shop tools (lathe, grinder, drill, milling).
• Maintain mill and facilities through regular servicing.
