Job summary

Advance-Auto-Parts Distribution Center in Salina, KS is seeking a Maintenance I Technician to perform general and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, structures and grounds. Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of related maintenance experience preferred in a DC or industrial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and manuals.
• Must adhere to safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Familiarity with MSDS procedures and hazardous materials storage is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs on equipment and systems.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus and components.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on conveyors, equipment, and machinery.
• Assist with plumbing, carpentry, and grounds maintenance tasks.
• Use blueprints and manuals to diagnose malfunctions and plan repairs.
• Work with maintenance staff to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
