Job summary

PAC Worldwide is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair packaging machinery across Level I–III competencies. The role requires understanding of electrical safe work practices, VFD/servo motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and reading blueprints.

You will install basic electrical components, fabricate parts, and troubleshoot complex equipment to minimize downtime. The position emphasizes safety, OSHA compliance, and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Level I requires high school diploma and 1–2 years in a maintenance environment.
• Level II requires 2+ years in maintenance or engineering service environment; ability to read mechanical/electrical blueprints.
• Level III requires 5+ years in maintenance/engineering service; advanced electrical/mechanical experience and ability to modify electrical control systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair PAC machinery per OEM and safety standards.
• Identify and report safety concerns; coach others on safe practices.
• Train less experienced employees and assist with upgrades and installations.
• Respond to emergency maintenance and perform basic PM procedures.
