Saddle Creek Logistics Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician for weekend days in Lakeland, FL. The role emphasizes electrical troubleshooting, PLC understanding, and preventative maintenance on packaging lines, conveyors, robotics, and related equipment.

Qualified candidates should have at least five years of maintenance experience in packaging environments, high school diploma, and related certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 5 years’ experience in packaging/equipment maintenance with emphasis on electrical installation and preventive maintenance.
• Certifications in basic electrical, mechanical, motor control relay logic, and schematic reading preferred.
• Experience operating boom and scissor lifts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install machines and perform control wiring installations and troubleshooting to component level.
• Understand and troubleshoot PLCs (not programming) and anchoring equipment.
• Run conduit, pull wires, terminate conductors, and rebuild conveyors/robotics equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment including boilers, air systems, and wrappers where applicable.
