Saddle Creek Logistics Services in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician. The role blends electrical troubleshooting with a strong mechanical aptitude to maintain packaging equipment and perform preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include machine installation, control wiring, PLC troubleshooting (not programming), and upkeep of conveyors, robotics, and related systems. Five years of experience and a high school diploma are required; certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in packaging and equipment maintenance with emphasis on electrical installation and preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with conveyors, robotics, over wrappers, palletizers, shrink wrappers, casers, air compressors, and boilers.
• Certifications in basic electrical, mechanical, motor control relay logic, and schematic reading preferred.
• Experience operating boom and scissor lifts.

Responsibilities

• Machine installation and control wiring installations with component-level troubleshooting.
• PLC understanding and troubleshooting skills (not programming).
• Anchor equipment, run conduit, pull wire, terminate conductors.
• Maintain and rebuild equipment, conveyor systems, robotics, and related duties.
