Job summary

Standex International is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair our diverse range of machinery and equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support overhauls with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).

The role requires interpretation of wiring diagrams, PCS documentation, and collaboration with engineering. A minimum of 5 years in maintenance and forklift experience are preferred; strong problem-solving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years proven experience as a manufacturing Maintenance Technician.
• Proficient understanding & interpretation of wiring diagrams, schematics, flow diagrams, etc.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage time, multi-task, and pay close attention to details.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machine tools and manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery, including tear down and replacement of defective parts.
• Assist outside contractors on overhaul and repair projects.
• Maintain equipment inventories and anticipate parts and supplies.
• Read diagrams and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Document actions by completing production and quality logs as needed.
• Train others by sharing information and expertise with the team.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and participate in audits as directed.
