Job summary

Soap Creek Resources is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 2nd shift at our Charlotte area beverage facility. You will lead maintenance technicians, manage planned and emergency repairs, and drive reliability to ensure production targets are met.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems and PLCs, and the ability to coordinate preventive maintenance with production schedules. This position offers a competitive salary and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
• At least two years of education beyond high school through college or technical school.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, hydraulics, PLCs, and industrial control networks.
• Ability to troubleshoot production equipment and guide technicians through complex repairs.
• Strong planning, communication, problem‑solving, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to coordinate contractors, maintenance schedules, and project expenses.
• Availability to work the stated second‑shift schedule with flexibility for additional coverage.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance technicians, communicate priorities, and ensure safe, effective work.
• Coordinate emergency repairs while ensuring preventive maintenance and scheduled work.
• Plan upcoming maintenance activities around technician availability and production schedules.
• Investigate recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions via root cause analysis.
• Develop technicians through coaching, performance feedback, and training.
• Track work orders and maintenance performance to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Support spare parts availability and organized maintenance storeroom practices.
• Partner with Production, Quality, and Safety teams to meet operating and food safety requirements.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors per plant safety procedures.
• Manage smaller maintenance and capital projects, including scheduling and cost tracking.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and support quality management systems.
