Job summary

A confidential beverage manufacturer in the Charlotte area seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for the 2nd shift. You will lead maintenance technicians, solve equipment issues, and drive reliability improvements across plant operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating repairs, planning around production schedules, coaching technicians, and ensuring safety. Strong PLC/electrical knowledge and proactive maintenance focus are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Electrical and mechanical systems, hydraulics, PLCs, and control networks.
• Troubleshoot production equipment and guide technicians.
• Strong planning, communication, problem solving, and team leadership.
• Coordinate contractors and maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance technicians, set priorities, and ensure safe work.
• Coordinate emergency repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Plan maintenance around technician availability and production schedules.
• Investigate recurring failures with root cause analysis.
• Develop technicians through coaching and training.
• Track work orders and maintenance performance to improve reliability.
• Support spare parts and storeroom practices.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Safety teams.
• Manage smaller maintenance and capital projects, scheduling and costs.
• Maintain maintenance records and quality management systems.
