Accounting Search is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a confidential beverage manufacturer in the Charlotte area to lead the 2nd shift and drive reliability improvements. The role oversees daily maintenance, coordinates repairs, and leads a team of technicians to prevent breakdowns and sustain production.

The position requires strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, PLCs, and hands-on leadership with a focus on safety and quality in a manufacturing setting.

Formación

• Five to seven years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
• Education beyond high school through college or technical school.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, hydraulics, PLCs, and industrial control networks.
• Ability to troubleshoot production equipment and guide technicians.
• Strong planning, communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
• Coordinate contractors, maintenance schedules, and project expenses.
• Availability to work the stated second-shift schedule with flexibility for additional coverage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead maintenance technicians, communicate priorities, and hold the team accountable for safe, effective work.
• Coordinate emergency repairs while ensuring preventive maintenance and scheduled work are completed.
• Plan upcoming maintenance activities around technician availability, equipment needs, and production schedules.
• Investigate recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions using root cause analysis.
• Develop technicians through coaching, performance feedback, and technical and safety training.
• Track work orders and maintenance performance to identify opportunities to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Support spare parts availability and organized maintenance storeroom practices.
• Partner with Production, Quality, and Safety teams to meet operating and food safety requirements.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors in accordance with plant safety procedures.
• Manage smaller maintenance and capital projects, including scheduling, resource coordination, and cost tracking.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and support established quality management systems.
