Job summary

Teasdale Latin Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Hoopeston, IL. You will lead a team of technicians to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and timely repairs to minimize downtime and ensure product quality and safety.

The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting, plus experience with CMMS and GMP/compliance. Applicants should be ready to coordinate with production and handle after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Experience in maintenance operations with 2+ years in supervisory role; Preference in food manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and RC/ Reliability-centered maintenance.
• Leadership and team-management abilities.
• Familiarity with GMP and food safety regulations.
• Proficiency with CMMS and MS Office.
• Flexible hours including emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead maintenance technicians to ensure uptime.
• Plan preventive maintenance schedules and work orders.
• Coordinate maintenance with production to minimize downtime.
• Inspect machinery and facilities for hazards and defects.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs with vendors.
• Maintain maintenance records and spare parts inventory.
• Enforce safety protocols and OSHA/compliance.
• Report maintenance performance and KPIs to Manager.
