Great Lakes Cheese, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Clerk to handle administrative tasks for the maintenance department.

You will order and track parts, set up items in the system, create work orders, and collaborate with mechanics to resolve issues, while upholding safety and quality standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Order parts for equipment for production; ensure correct pricing.
• Source parts to ensure best price and quality.
• Send parts out for repair, track them as necessary.
• Create work orders for parts that are given to Maintenance employees.
• Set up new parts in system and label.
• Write purchase orders; clear the purchase orders as invoices are received.
• Log parts that are received and put them away.
• Take inventory of parts as necessary.
• File purchase orders and invoices.
• Work cooperatively with mechanics and all customers to resolve issues.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and uphold GMP standards.
