Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Maintenance Operator for the North Aurora, IL facility. You will develop and execute machine preventive maintenance schedules and perform repairs on CNC, injection molding, fabrication, welding, assembly, testing, HVAC and facility equipment.

The role requires diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and PLC issues, interpreting prints, and using CMMS to manage work orders and parts inventory. Shift is 2nd (3:00pm-11:00pm) with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

CNC repair knowledge is required and essential.
Ability to diagnose and fix CNC mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC and control issues.
Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance.
Ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical prints/schematics.
Experience identifying failure causes and recommending improvements.
Experience managing work orders, PMs and parts inventory (CMMS).
Experience with CNC, injection molding, fabrication, welding, assembly, testing, HVAC and facility systems.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC problems on machinery to determine repairs or replacement needs.
Perform repairs and fabrications on CNC, injection molding, fabrication, welding, assembly, testing, HVAC and facility equipment.
Determine root causes of maintenance issues and suggest improvements.
Work from prints, schematics, drawings and sketches.
Work with CMMS to manage maintenance work orders, PMs and parts inventory.
