Job summary

Pentair in North Aurora, IL is hiring a Maintenance Operator for the 2nd shift to service CNC, Injection Molding, Fabrication, Welding, and facility equipment. You will develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC issues from prints and schematics.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, experience with CMMS, and the ability to manage parts inventory.

Qualifications

CNC repair knowledge is REQUIRED.
Ability to diagnose and fix CNC mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and control issues.
Experience with preventive & predictive maintenance.
Ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical prints/schematics.
Experience identifying failure causes and recommending improvements
Experience managing work orders, PMs, and parts inventory (CMMS).
Experience with equipment – CNC, injection molding, fabrication, welding, assembly, testing, HVAC, and facility systems.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC problems on machinery and equipment to determine repairs and replacement needs.
Perform repairs and fabrications on CNC, injection molding, fabrication, welding, assembly, testing, HVAC and facility equipment.
Determine root cause of maintenance issues and document improvements; Root Cause Analysis training is a plus.
Work from prints, schematics, drawings and sketches (electrical, hydraulic, air, plumbing, structural).
Work with CMMS system to manage maintenance work orders, PMs, and parts inventory.
