Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Ohio is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Distribution Center. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment, conveyors and related systems to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Responsibilities include reporting spare parts usage, training junior technicians, and coordinating with outside vendors to complete projects in a safe and timely manner.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent required.
• 2-year vocational certificate or degree in mechanical/electrical field preferred.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a distribution/industrial setting.
• Welding, burning and cutting experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls.
• Familiar with DC-specific software (Crown PM, Gage).
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics.
• Good safety awareness and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA safety requirements and LOTO policies.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and conveyance systems.
• Follow PM standards and document work in asset management system.
• Report spare parts usage to Maintenance leadership.
• Train junior technicians to raise performance levels.
• Coordinate with outside vendors to complete DC projects safely and timely.
• Support DC operations as needed.
