Maintenance Department
The Maintenance Mechanic conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on all machinery in the plant.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
- Performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs of packaging and production machines.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance and service.
- Familiar with Computer-based Maintenance Management Systems.
- Supplies own hand tools and a lockable toolbox.
Safety & GMP Objectives
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment, complying with policies and OSHA regulations.
- Recognize unsafe acts and conditions, implementing corrective actions.
- Complete necessary paperwork related to job functions, quality, and safety training.
- Report all incidents, even minor ones.
- Follow Food Safety Plan and GMPs, including proper waste disposal, attire, grooming, and hygiene.
- Represent the company professionally; not authorized to speak on its behalf.

SUNDAY - THURSDAY, 9pm - 5:30am

Compensation
$25/hr - $40/hr
The Maintenance Mechanic reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is supported by other Mechanics or the Supervisor. Training is provided.
