A leading company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical problems in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience. Strong mechanical knowledge and safety compliance are essential. Maintenance Mechanic
This role will work 2nd Shift (3:30pm to 12:00am), plus cover a weekend on-call shift once per month.
The Maintenance Mechanic inspects, identifies, diagnoses, and corrects mechanical or minor electrical/instrumental problems. Fabricates, installs, adjusts, repairs, replaces parts, dismantles, and rebuilds equipment/instruments to correct problems per schematics and work instructions.
This position requires a high school diploma at minimum, with trade school training preferred. Mechanical trade and welding skills are required, along with the ability to comprehend piping schematics and blueprints.
Requires at least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance operations or a related field.
Duties will be performed both inside and outside the manufacturing plant. Inside locations may range from 45°F to 110°F depending on weather conditions. Outside work may be exposed to temperatures from –20°F to 100°F.
Training on day shift (7:30 am to 4:00 pm) for approximately one month. Second shift hours are 3:30 pm to 12:00 am.
