Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Maintenance Associate Leader for the Frankfort East site on 2nd shift (2pm–11pm). You will lead 5–20 front-line maintenance mechanics, drive team development, and ensure safety and high-quality performance.

You will coach managers and staff to implement right strategies and floor-level problem solving. You will focus on downtime reduction, Total Efficiency, equipment reliability, and OEE, while guiding cross-functional teams and prioritizing priorities to maximize asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; engineering/technical degrees preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience in problem-solving and achieving performance targets in operational settings.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills, with cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5 to 20 maintenance mechanics with varying experience and education.
• Drive people and team development to enhance quality, performance, cost, service, and safety.
• Motivate the team to achieve performance targets and encourage continuous learning and growth.
• Develop team members to solve technical and operational issues.
• Organize regular team meetings to discuss issues, updates, and process improvements.
• Provide guidance to resolve problems effectively on the floor.
• Lead initiatives to improve communication and engagement across departments.
• Address obstacles to achieving performance goals.
• Lead project implementations to support site-wide objectives.
